We started Fox Fold in 2023 to fix that. Cousins Ludovic Siouffi and Greg Hegger left corporate careers to build a better system: refillable tissue solutions so hotels never have to waste partially used toilet rolls and facial tissue boxes.

Our story
We traveled a lot. On trip after trip, we noticed the same thing on housekeeping carts: perfectly good toilet paper rolls and tissue boxes, tossed before they were used up.
After speaking with over 30 hotels, we uncovered an opportunity: hotels were throwing out almost half of their tissue inventory. They were keen to avoid this waste but they didn’t know how. We then spent the next year building the fix: a refillable dispenser system, the manufacturing facilities to make it, and the tissue converting facilities to supply it. We worked with hoteliers side by side the whole way, so it held up in real hotel operations, not just a lab.
During this journey, we were lucky to meet Bret Recor of Box Clever, the design firm behind Away luggage, Caraway cookware and Nebia showerheads - who became the third major partner. Fox Fold was quickly adopted by independent hotels and within months was carried by some of the largest hotels in North America, proving that refillable tissue was solving a real problem.
